School Mission
Our main mission is to prepare children for the jobs of the future. Although it is not possible to predict exactly what those jobs will be, it is clear that they will be jobs that robots and artificial intelligence will not be able to do. Jobs that require creativity and developed imagination, analytical skills, collaboration, communication, and flexibility will be in high demand.
The world is already in a transition that is moving from material goods to intellectual ones. To be successful in the future, we need to educate staff who will be able to cooperate and unite, to know technologies and, using their creativity and acquired knowledge, create intellectual property that will contribute to the progress of the society in which we live.
How Do We Achieve this?
Founders
In order for Tvrđava High School to be able to provide children with an education that is truly several levels above the current schooling options, organizations have joined forces that, with their knowledge, results, and experience, can create an environment in which children will be able to achieve their maximum.
The use of innovation in everyday teaching is necessary to keep up with the progress of society. The creator and one of the founders is Dragan Kovačević, an English teacher, author of the YouTube channel and website Virtuelna Učionica known to children, and owner of the IT company Zequester, specialized in the creation of Internet platforms for distance learning and interactive educational content that will enable the implementation of the most modern technology in teaching.
The proven quality of teaching and the high level of organization that has been functioning for years in Tvrđava Elementary School has been transferred to the High School, since the elementary school is also one of the founders.
In high school, it is desirable that, in addition to theoretical knowledge, children also acquire applicable knowledge, so the third founder of Tvrđava High School, the well-known IT company Vega IT from Novi Sad, provides children with internships and scholarships and enables them to develop the skills they will need at faculties and the labor market.
